Bloody Mary

Bloody Mary is believed, mostly by young American girls, to be a ghost or demon. The ghost is of a person who in her life either killed or lost her own children (several versions exist of the story behind the the ghost). As an experiment of bravery and of challenging each other, Bloody Mary is typically attempted summoned at slumber parties, using a mirror and candles in a dark room, similar to scrying, which if successful is said will lead to Bloody Mary emerging from the mirror and killing the summoners.
