Christianity is a religion. This religion is based around Jesus of Nazareth and how he was written about and perceived in the new testament. Jesus of Nazareth is later known as Jesus Christ, because Christians believe he was the messiah, they also believe that Jesus is also the son of God. Christians believe that Jesus came to show us a way of life, a virtuous loving life, unfortunately he was put onto a crucifix and left to die, he was resurrected by God to bring about our salvation from sin. After this people say that he went to heaven and that one day he will come down and judge the living and the dead, he will grant everlasting life to his followers.

Almost every aspect of the religion we call Christianity has to do with one of two people. God and Jesus of Nazareth, more commonly known as Jesus Christ. The ideals and principles of Jesus Christ are the central pillar of Christianity. The name Jesus Christ originates from a Hebrew word, מָשִׁיחַ, which is translated into Messiah or Anointed one.
