Electronic harassment

Electronic harassment is any use of electronics to spy on a person or too even cause them bodily harm. Some forms of electronic harassment, such as microwave harassment even fall under the category of torture. Also, the use of electronics to gather information illegally is a form of electronic harassment.

Electronic surveillance

Electronic surveilance is the observation of a person, their surroundings, or their belongings through various means, such as video equiptment, listening devices, heat or infrared spectral devices etc... Not all surveillance is illegal though. Watching somebody with their eyes certainly is not illegal. However as technology progresses surveillance technology will become more sophisticated. Tiny microphones, pinhole cameras and micro transmitters, just to name a few, are available at any novelty spy store.

High energy weapons

This is the most common type of electronic harassment and is the easiest to employ. Something as ordinary as a microwave oven can be modified to project a beam of up to 1200 watts. Microwaves can cause a number of ill effects such as boils, blisters, internal bleeding and can even cause cancer. They can also disrupt or disable computers or alarm systems. Radar guns are another example of a device that can be used as a harmful weapon. They are very powerful and can cause alot of damage if somebody is exposed for a long period of time.
