Erich Von Däniken

Erich Von Däniken (born April 14, 1935) is a well-known researcher, author, and lecturer. Among his best known books is Chariots of the Gods. He is among those who have made popular the idea that extraterrestrials have visited our planet, the Earth.

Criticism

Many, however, claim that Von Däniken's theories cannot be taken seriously. He is very controversial, but he does always provide evidence to his theory's. He is considered a leading authority on the ancient astronaut theory.

Published Works

He is co-founder of the Archaeology, Astronautics and SETI Research Association. He has written a total of 26 books, and has sold more than 60 million copies around the world. Some of his books have been translated into as many as 20 languages.
