The Federal Bureau of Investigation aka the F.B.I is the main investigative arm of the United States DOJ 9Department of Justice), the FBI serves as a criminal investigative body and a domestic intelligence agency. At this point in time, May the 14th 2008, the F.B.I covers over 200 categories of federal cime, and since they cover so much they are the leading force in law enforcment in the United States. The bureaus' motto is "Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity". Washington D.C is the current location of the F.B.I although their are 56 field offices loacted in alot of major cities through out the US, there are approximatly 400 resident agencies in smaller towns and cities amonst the nation. The Bureau does how ever have 50 offices in various countrys in US embassies, these offices are named Legal Attachés.

The F.B.I have a most wanted list which is known all around the world. Currently at the Top of this list is Osama bin Laden, the F.B.I defines its self as "to protect and defend the United States against terrorist and foreign intelligence threats and to enforce the criminal laws of the United States." Like all other tings the F.B.I is not without its flaws, one J. Edgar Hoover has more tumours about him than any other director, he has been acussed of blackmailing presidents, football stars, actors/tress's and many many more.
