Free energyFrom TinWiki.orgFree energy is excess energy from some method or machine where less energy is put in than comes out. Free energy seems to contradict the laws of physics since energy is said to never be created or destroyed, but only to become different types of energy. Several inventors have tried, and many claim to have succeeded, creating a perpetuum mobile, a machine that gives more energy than it uses. Conspiracy theorists suspect that traditional energy industries want to suppress free energy technologies out of fear of losing their customers.
[edit] Possible consequencesIn addition to the laws of physics having to be rewritten, free energy's effects on society and on human beings' lives would of course be enormous. Many feel that free energy would solve humanity's problems, and also that a clean energy source would be good for the environment. Free energy would of course not just mean being able to do the same things that are done today, except free. Actual free energy could mean that the amount of energy would almost be unlimited. What an unlimited supply of freely available energy could be used for, is—for better or worse—limited almost only by imagination. [edit] See also[edit] External links
