Horus is the God of the sky in Egyptian Mythology. Horus is considered one of the most important figures ever in Egyptian mythology; his symbol is the eye of Horus which is one of, if not, the most iconic Egyptian icons ever. Horus was part man and part falcon, he had the body of a man and the head of the falcon. One of his eyes became injured when he fought Set, he was in conflict with Set because according to mythology Set had killed Horus's brother Osiris. His eye healed and from then on the symbol of his eye was known as a symbol of healing and renewal. Horus then went on to united all of Egypt, in life the Pharaohs are said to be incarnates of the God Horus, and in death they are the incarnates of his brother Osiris.
