Officially The 7 July 2005 London bombings, also known as the 7/7 bombings were a series of suicide attacks carried out against Great Britain by Muslim extremists. On 7/7 2005, a terrorist attack was conducted against the subway in London. Like the September 11 2001 attacks, the London 7/7 bomb attacks are surrounded by conspiracy theories, calling the attacks a false flag operation. This topic is taken up by, among others, Alex Jones (especially in his video Terror Storm).

False Flag suspicions

Among the reasons for suspicion among conspiracy theorists, is the fact that a military excercise happened at the exact same time as the attacks took place, with the exact same type of scenario as what was happening in reality. This has been said to be an impossible coincidence, and is likened to what happened on September 11 when it was also the case that a military drill took place at the exact same time as the actual attacks occured, where the drill scenario involved the same type of scenario as what took place in reality. It is natural to think that the confusion of having actual incidences happening at the same time and in the same way as that which is part of the drill, decreases the likeliness of law enforcers to respond to the real terror act being carried out. Other suspicions voiced about the London bombing name various details surrounding the case that do not seem to add up.
