Mohammad Atta

Mohammad Atta (September 1, 1968 – September 11, 2001) was the main-suspect of 9/11. It is thought that he lead and participated in the hi-jacking which resulted in the collision crash with the world trade centers. he was on board the first of two planes that hit. Mohammad went to the technical University in Harburg, Germany. Mohammad is originally from the northern region of Egypt. Mr. Atta was familiar with the controversial Sharia Law, his father was a successful lawyer whom was educated in Sharia and civil law.

In the late summer of 98' Mohammed failed to qualify for housing in the Universatiy which he had attended. He left that summer and moved into an apartment nearby in Wilhelmsburg. It was later that he and his ex-room mates started to meet 3-4 times a week to talk about they hate and dislike of America and think of possible attack ideas. Many other al-Qaeda members lived in this apartment at various times, including some others of the 9/11 hijackings. The 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed visited the apartment repeatedly.
