Orgone energy is an alleged energy that was discovered by Wilhelm Reich. Supposedly orgone energy pervades the entire universe, and is the ether that scientists used to believe filled space, and explained things like the transmission of light through a vacuum. It is said that orgone effects everything from a persons mood to the weather. There are people who say that you can pretty easily build a device called an orgone generator that is supposed to collect this energy.

What it is

Orgone energy is a universal, all permeating energy that has been discovered and named numerous times in history. Since ancient times it was known by Asians. Chinese call it "Chi", Japanese call it "Ki" and East Indians call it "Prana".

In western civilizations its existence is still disputed and often revoked by mainstream science and society. Yet there were numerous discoveries done by several fringe scientists who have named it "Animal Magnetism", ether, or aether. Wilhelm Reich gave it the name "orgone" when he discovered it. He claimed further that orgone energy was a life energy which filled all space, was blue in color and that certain forms of illness were caused by blockage or depletion of the orgone within the body.

There are also claims that there are two forms of orgone: Good Orgone and DOR (bad orgone).

Collection or generation

Orgone energy can be "created" with use of orgone generators or orgone accumulators. The latter is what Wilhelm Reich used to "create" orgone. The substance is not actually created, but it's being captured by alternating layers of metal and organic material, such as cotton or wool (for an orgone accumulator) or by mixing the ingredients in a resin (for an orgone generator). According to experts, metals always repel orgone and organic material always attract it. When put together they act as a magnet for orgone. This is the standard recipe of generating orgone. It can of course vary. Crystals or neodymium magnets can be added to increase the ability of the orgone generator to emit orgone. Certain forms and shapes such copper coils can even influence the strength and direction of the orgone.

The metal within the resin can be of varying size and density. This influences the function of the generator and the amount of orgone it emits. If the metal within is as large as several cm large and as a result of that of a low density, the orgone generator will usually function as a filter. Much in the way how an air filter works. It will take the DOR in the air that was caused by any form of pollution and transform it into good orgone energy. Orgone generators with such a low density usually go not emit much orgone energy either.

When the metals and crystals and other material in the orgone generator is finer and more dense within the resin, it will usually emit more energy. But these can have an advantage: Electronic circuitry, speakers, mobius coils antennas or lasers can be installed in the orgone resin during the casting of it, so they can be used to power it up to enhance the generators ability to emit orgone. These work really well with the high density orgone. At a great enough size it can be overwhelming to be close to the orgone generator. It generates a lot more chi and modern magick practictioners prefer using these kinds of orgone generators paired with radionic machines to power their modern magick operations.

Strange enough, but orgone can also be generated by patterns on a piece of paper.

Ice experiments

The existence of orgone can be tested and proven with a simple experiment. All that is needed is an ice tray, distilled water, an orgone generator and a freezer. Pour some of the distilled water in small amounts in the ice tray and put it in the freezer. Place the orgone generator on top of the freezer, but not directly on top of where the ice tray is located. Let it stay there for a day and check the ice after that. The ice will have frozen in such a way that it forms a stalagmite pointing in the direction of the orgone generator.

A double blind way to do this would be to it with three people. Person one prepares the icetray and records the results, person two takes three identical boxes and places the orgone generator in one of them. Person three takes one of the boxes and places it on the freezer. This repeats with a different icetray and a different box every day. Person two never lets the first person know which box he put the orgone generator in, and person three never reveals which box was heavier. If all goes well, one of the ice trays will have formed a stalagmite while the others haven't. The one with the stalagmite would've been in the freezer while the box with the orgone generator was on top of it.
