There are two mentions of Perkins' name in the article. Only the first gives a source, ostensibly a newspaper clipping, which is going to be pretty hard to verify. If anyone reading this lives in Australia, it would be great for them to go to the library and check the microfiche. I have a hunch that paper is carried in few if any US libraries.

The second reference, quoting Perkins directly, has no source at all. Where did you read that second quote, and, how do you know it's a valid source?
