Basic doctrine

The Law of Thelema is summed up in these phrases from the Book of the Law.

  • "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law" (AL I:40)
  • "Love is the law, love under will" (AL I:57)
  • "There is no Law beyond Do what thou wilt" (AL III:60)

These basic tenets do not mean Do what you want, They mean that one is to seek out his "true Will", or higher calling and then do nothing that diverts one from that path.

Ethics

Thelemic Ethics are perhaps best covered in Liber Oz and Duty
