Theosophy is a school of esoteric thinking. It is largely based upon the ideas and writings of Madame Blavatsky. The system involves imparting wisdom from divine Ascended Masters to individuals. Often the sages from whom communications are received are immortal wise men from the ancient past who use psionic powers to impart their wisdom to modern people. Theosophy makes use of a wide array of other esoteric and occult concepts and practices.
