 Unidentified flying object

|
|
An unidentified flying object (UFO) is any object observed in the sky which cannot be identified. Many people claim UFOs are extraterrestrial spacecraft, but others say there is no definitive evidence to support that idea.
UFOs have been blamed for many things from cattle mutilation to crop circles.

Most UFOs that are reported are only seen as unusual lights in the night sky. There are however, many cases where the observers can clearly see the shape of the UFO.
UFOs have been reported having many different shapes: circle, triangle, cylinder, cone, diamond, and many more.
Perhaps the most reported shape is a circle (sphere, disk). These UFOs may be what is some times called a flying saucer. The term "flying saucer" originated from Kenneth Arnold's depiction of the objects as "saucers" as reported by the Associated Press.[1]
Triangle shaped UFOs are mainly believed to be of terrestrial origins. The triangle shaped UFO may be a secret American aircraft known as the Aurora.
Cylinder shaped UFOs have been reported as early as the 1950’s and have even been said to have windows.
